Our Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy & Protection Guidelines
At our marketplace, we want you to shop with complete confidence. To protect your purchases, products sold on our platform are covered by clear, structured warranty terms provided by our network of brands, manufacturers, and authorized marketplace vendors.

????️ 1. Types of Product Warranties
Depending on the item and the Vendor type, your product may be covered under one of the following three warranty categories:

  1. Brand / Manufacture Warranty: Covered directly by the CBC MARKETPLACE  (e.g., Ruckl, Bohemia Crystal, ). You can bring the product to any CBC SHOWROOMS or PICKUP POINTS with your marketplace invoice for repair or replacement.
  2. Seller / Vendor Warranty: Provided directly by independent marketplace sellers. The vendor handles the inspection, repair, or replacement of the product within their stated warranty period.
  3. International Manufacturer Warranty: Valid globally by the manufacturer. If bought from an overseas seller, the item may need to be registered on the brand’s global website or sent to an CBC FULFILMENT international service hub.

Note: You can find the exact warranty type and duration listed clearly under the "Delivery & Warranty" tab on every individual product page.

???? 2. Warranty Duration Framework
Warranty periods vary by product type and buyer profile:

  • Consumer Goods (B2C Orders via DHL Express): Typically ranges from 3 Months to 1 Year (e.g., electronics, home appliances, smart gadgets) from the date of delivery.
  • Commercial / Bulk Orders (B2B Orders via CBC Cargo): Industrial machinery, heavy hardware, or wholesale commercial inventory generally carry specialized 1 to 3-Year Extended Commercial Warranties managed via the B2B vendor contract.

???? 3. What is Covered (Valid Claims)
Warranties strictly cover manufacturing defects and functional faults that occur under normal use, including:

  • Hardware failure (e.g., a device refusing to power on, faulty internal screens).
  • Structural integrity defects (e.g., component separation or assembly errors from the factory).
  • Electrical or mechanical malfunctions not caused by external forces.

❌ 4. What is NOT Covered (Warranty Exclusions)
The warranty becomes immediately void if the item shows signs of:

  • Physical Damage: Drops, cracks, dents, crushed components, or scratches caused by the user.
  • Liquid Damage: Submersion, spills, or moisture exposure (unless the product has an official waterproof rating and was used within specified limits).
  • Unauthorized Modification: Opening the product housing, breaking factory warranty seals, or software rooting/jailbreaking.
  • Wear and Tear: Normal degradation over time, such as battery health decline, fabric fading, or cosmetic aging.

????️ 5. How to File a Warranty Claim

Step 1: Check Your Invoice

  • Log in to your marketplace account, go to Orders, and download the digital tax invoice for your purchase. This serves as your official proof of purchase.

Step 2: Identify Your Contact Point

  • For Brand Warranty: Locate the nearest official service center using the brand's local website. Bring your invoice and the product directly to them for fastest processing.
  • For Seller Warranty: Contact the vendor directly via the marketplace internal messaging tool ("Contact Seller" button on your order history page).

Step 3: Provide Evidence

  • When submitting a claim to a vendor, clear evidence must be provided:
    • A clear video showing the defect or malfunction.
    • Clear photos of the item's serial number or IMEI number.
    • A photo of the front and back of the item to prove there is no physical damage.

Step 4: Resolution

  • Once evaluated, the service center or vendor will either Repair the item for free, issue a Replacement unit, or provide a store voucher refund if a replacement is out of stock.
